Holiday Workshop Program – Canberra Youth Theatre

Everyone has something to say. Over the school holidays, let your creativity run wild with a 4-day session focused on establishing and strengthening theatre skills, making new friends, and creating a show that shares a little bit about what makes you unique.

Tracy Bourne, a fantastic tutor, will bring together a group of up to 16 young people during the school holidays for a fun four day course using theater games and exercises. These Christmas programs for children 7 to 12 are meant to foster confidence and fundamental abilities in voice, dance, character, and story.

Bring:Comfortable clothes you can move around in, lunch, snacks and a drink bottle

During the school holidays, we’ll be hosting a fun, creative session about who we are and who we want to be. Consider the future, and remember that anything is possible.

Our young artists will develop and explore performance skills, make new friends and create a show in a week! 

These young artists will learn and practice performance skills, meet new people, and put on a show in a week!

This course also includes a unique visit to the Canberra Theatrical Centre to attend a performance of The Young King, presented by globally recognized theatre company Slings overhead.
